Vancouver Walk at the Filipino Heritage Festival in Surrey BC Canada.
One of the many things to do in Vancouver is visiting various cultural events. As June is Filipino Heritage Month, various events are happening everywhere, so I decided to visit and make a 360 video of the one in Surrey BC Canada.
People interested in learning more about the Filipino culture, were invited to come, dance, sing and enjoy live music from traditional Filipino, jazz, classical and pop/rock throughout the day with local Filipino-Canadian artists and international special guests on the main stage at Civic Plaza, City Hall in Surrey, one of Vancouver's suburbs, a popular home-away-from-home for many Filipinos living in Canada. My short visit at the Filipino Heritage Festival was on the first of the 2-day event on Saturday, June 22nd. On Sunday, the event ended with the first annual Surrey Filipino Heritage Gala Dinner to celebrate the official designation of June as Filipino Heritage Month across Canada.
